Sigma has just filed a new lens patent for telephoto zoom lens: Sigma 70-200mm f/4 DG DN OS Sports lens for L-mount full frame mirrorless cameras.
Recently, dpreview had a chance to interview with Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki. Talking about the L-mount cameras & lenses and Foveon sensor full-frame camera. Below is the highlights of this interview:
Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki confirmed on Twitter that upcoming Sigma lenses will mostly be DN series full frame & APC-S lenses for mirrorless cameras. This means Sigma will make more full frame lenses for L-mount mirrorless cameras.
In the recently interview with Sigma CEO Mr Kazuto Yamaki, he confirmed that Sigma will soon announce a new 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Sports lens for L-mount and Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Sigma has already announced the 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art lens and 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art lens, so next lens will be the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.
Sigma UK today has announced that they will attend upcoming CP+ 2020 in late February. So what new Sigma products will be announced ? According to latest rumors, the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Sports lens for L-mount could be announced. And Sigma may also announce L-mount Foveon full frame camera during CP+. Stay tuned.

According to latest rumors, Sigma will soon announce the development of Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art Lens for L-mount. This will be the fourth Sigma L-mount native lens. The official announcement will be on November 6th, 2019.
Several weeks ago, Sigma has released first three lenses exclusively designed for L-mount mirrorless cameras, now according to latest rumors, Sigma may release more L-mount lenses soon.
