Sigma 16-28mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens Announced, Priced $899, Available for Pre-Order

Sigma has just officially announced the new Sigma 16-28mm F2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens for Leica L mount. It is a compact, high-performance ultrawide zoom meant to compliment a photographer’s arsenal by providing a versatile range of focal lengths in a small and lightweight package, without compromising on optical quality. A fast f/2.8 constant aperture allows for the use of faster shutter speeds in low light scenarios as well as being especially useful for closeup shots thanks to its shallow depth of field.

This new lens costs $899, first available for pre-order at B&H/ Adorama.
