Panasonic has just announced the firmware update version 1.2 for S1 and S1R full frame mirrorless cameras, and this firmware will be available on July 9th, 2019. Youtuber Richard Wong has tested Panasonic S1 with firmware 1.2 compared to Sony a7 III on video autofocus performance. It seems that in some conditions, S1 is even better than Sony a7 III. Sigma has officially announced the release date for their 11 L-mount lenses at a press event in London. The first three Sigma L-mount lenses due to ship are 35mm f/1.4, 50mm f/1.4 and 85mm f/1.4 primes, release date expected in September, 2019. The 20mm f/1.4, 24mm f/1.4, and 135mm f/1.8 will be released in October. The 28mm f/1.4, 40mm f/1.4 and 105mm f/1.4 will be released at the end of the year, in December. And 14mm f/1.8 and 70mm f/2.8 Macro will not released until next year.
