Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki confirmed on Twitter that upcoming Sigma lenses will mostly be DN series full frame & APC-S lenses for mirrorless cameras. This means Sigma will make more full frame lenses for L-mount mirrorless cameras.
In the recently interview with Sigma CEO Mr Kazuto Yamaki, he confirmed that Sigma will soon announce a new 70-200mm f/2.8 DG DN Sports lens for L-mount and Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. Sigma has already announced the 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN Art lens and 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art lens, so next lens will be the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

The fourth Sigma L-mount lens now officially announced – Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN Art lens. This lens has a total of 19 elements, including low dispersion, special low dispersion and aspherical glass. Sigma’s ‘Super Multi-Layer’ and ‘Nano Porous’ coatings have been applied to reduce flare and ghosting. Autofocus is driven by a stepping motor and the lens can focus as close as 18cm (7.1″). Currently no price or release date info about this lens, stay tuned.
