SIGMA fp Firmware Coming 2020: LOG Picture Profile & RAW Output Recording via HDMI

During Inter BEE 2019, Cinema5D had the chance to talk with SIGMA about the upcoming firmware update for the Sigma fp(B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon). According to Cinema5D, a firmware update will coming in 2020: will bring exciting new video features such as in-camera playback of cinemaDNG footage, and something that a lot of shooters are waiting for: a LOG picture profile and RAW output video recording via HDMI.

Video: Sigma fp Vs. Panasonic Lumix S1 Eye-AF Test

Here is a video comparison of new released Sigma fp compared to Panasonic Lumix S1 full frame mirrorless cameras. Both cameras used the Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary lens. From the video, we can see that Eye-AF of Panasonic Lumix S1 is much better than Sigma fp.

Sigma fp Announced, Price $1,899, Available for Pre-order !

Sigma has officially announced the new fp full frame cinema camera today. The US price is $1,899, now available for pre-order at B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon. Release date is at the end of this month.
