Panasonic has officially released a new firmware version 2.1 for the Lumix DC-S1H (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) today. This new firmware adds support for Raw video output to Atomos Ninja V external recorders, which in turn can save the footage as ProRes Raw. The maximum output resolutions are 5.9K/29.97p from the full sensor region and 4K/59.94p from a Super 35 crop. A LUT will be made available for the Ninja V to match V-Log and V-Gamut on the S1H and other Panasonic video cameras. You can download this firmware here.

Today, Panasonic has officially announced the long awaited firmware update version 2.0 for Lumix S1H (B&H Photo Video/Adorama/Amazon) full frame mirrorless camera. Adds the ability to output 5.9K or 4K Raw video data that can be captured as ProRes Raw when connected to an Atomos Ninja V recorder. This firmware version 2.0 will be released on May 25, 2020.
French website PhotoTrend had an interview with Panasonic’s Yosuke Yamane. Talking about the sales of Lumix S series and upcoming plan of Panasonic. Yosuke Yamane said that Panasonic will expend their product line with more affordable full frame L-mount mirrorless cameras.
